Plan an ordinary upgraded shift separately from the no-skill-point challenge. The current Faster than light target is under eight hours, not six. Update 1.3 changes that time condition, and the live Steam achievement list now shows eight hours too.
There are 15 achievements in the official Steam list. The table below keeps their names so that you can match them to Steam, while summarizing their conditions. It is a planning checklist, not a claim that every trigger and collectible location has been tested.
All 15 targets
| Achievement | Condition to plan around |
|---|---|
| Long shift begins.. | Pick up the first case |
| MEOW | Pet Jeff for the first time |
| Only 550 left.. | Complete 100 shelves |
| You can do it! | Complete 200 shelves |
| Keep going! | Complete 300 shelves |
| Jeff believes in you! | Complete 400 shelves |
| Almost done! | Complete 500 shelves |
| This can come in handy.. | Reach capacity to hold nine cases at once |
| BIG BOSS | Unlock the entire Skill Tree |
| Gotta catch'em all! | Find every collectible in the shop |
| Big investments | Spend 2,000 tokens at a slot machine |
| MEGA BIG WIN! | Get three consecutive jackpots |
| GG! | Finish the shift for the first time |
| Faster than light | Finish the shift in less than eight hours |
| Masochist | Finish without spending skill points |
Steam uses shelves in the milestone descriptions, while the store separately advertises 96 racks and 650 series. Do not interpret Complete 500 shelves as requiring 500 large furniture racks. Use the game's own progress displays and the named achievement threshold rather than adding incompatible counts together.
Choose the run before choosing upgrades
An ordinary first shift is the useful place to learn the categories, explore the shop, buy relevant abilities and understand the machine. It can also support BIG BOSS, the nine-case capacity goal and the progressive completion milestones, provided you actually meet their listed conditions. The store confirms movement and series-collection abilities; their exact route and total point cost are not supplied by the published patch notes.
Masochist asks for the opposite spending behavior: finish without using skill points. If that is your goal, do not make a routine early purchase and expect to repair the condition later. No verified respec procedure is established here. Keep a challenge run distinct from the upgraded run if your game provides a way to do so without sacrificing the save you want to keep.
The condition concerns spending points. It does not explicitly prohibit collecting diamonds. It also does not fully explain how every special reward interacts with the challenge. Do not turn that wording into a blanket promise that all non-point upgrades are safe. If you want the most conservative interpretation, avoid optional upgrade experiments during the challenge.
The eight-hour challenge
The 1.3 announcement changes the achievement from six hours to eight. A six-hour instruction in an older video is therefore outdated for this condition. The official wording says under eight hours, so exactly eight hours is not the stated target.
The available sources do not establish whether the timer pauses in menus, how it handles reloads, or which exact exit event records completion. Do not depend on an assumed pause or reload trick. Leave a margin and use the game's displayed time if one is available in your session.
For a time-focused shift, reduce repeated walking and indecision. Group cases by a known nearby destination, inspect labels before carrying them and choose upgrades around the task that is actually slow. Learn that routine in a normal run before combining it with a time target. The sorting guide explains the workflow without promising a guaranteed completion time.
Collectibles and capacity are separate from tidy shelves
Gotta catch'em all! requires all collectibles. The Steam description says hidden collectibles provide boosts, but it does not publish a complete location map. Finishing the case collection does not establish that you found every boost item.
Make a deliberate exploration checklist during the shift. If your reveal ability gives unexpected information, update first: 1.3 fixes its collected-item display. That repair does not turn an incomplete map into a complete one. Check missing cases and collectibles for a search method and the current limitations.
For the nine-case capacity achievement, verify the available hand capacity rather than assuming nine cases shown on the floor meet the condition. The target is being able to handle that many at once. No precise required combination of skill nodes and collectibles is established in the sources, so read the current upgrade descriptions instead of following a guessed recipe.
Gambling achievements need patience, not invented odds
Big investments is a spending target. MEGA BIG WIN! is a consecutive-result target. One is about the amount used; the other depends on random outcomes. A run that meets the spending amount is not guaranteed to meet the jackpot sequence.
Update 1.3 reduces Special Token drops and automatic shelf rewards, and removes machine-token income from machine-completed shelves. Those changes make old self-funding spin strategies unreliable. No published jackpot percentage supports a probability calculator or a guaranteed spin count. Our Jeff and token guide explains the current reward boundaries.
If the unlock does not appear
Compare your state with the exact condition first: capacity versus carried count, spending versus balance, consecutive jackpots versus total jackpots, collectibles versus cases, and a finished shift versus a nearly complete store. Update the game and retain a screenshot of the relevant totals or result.
A missing achievement is not a reason to erase your save immediately. If the condition appears satisfied and remains unrecognized, report the installed version and the specific achievement through the official discussion hub. No general achievement-reset tool or save-edit fix is verified here.
